I loved that it was only a short stroll to Fair Park, where I enjoyed beautiful green views, and the nearby President William Jefferson Clinton Birthplace Home provided a fascinating glimpse into history. plus, breakfast was delicious and the staff was super friendly, making my one-night stay enjoyable overall.

The breakfast spread had some tasty options that hit the spot post-journey, and the shower pressure was fantastic, really made for a refreshing cleanse. Easy-to-adjust heating unit turned out to be a life-saver, providing comfort after a long day on the road.

However, the room carried a noticeable musty odor, like damp carpet that never dried out fully, which wasn’t pleasant. Lighting felt rather dim even with all lamps on, and it's inconvenient that the switches aren’t accessible. I appreciate being able to control my environment easily. Plus, we had to walk past a group of smokers by the entrance, which wasn’t ideal for the kids, and that couch hideaway bed was not only uncomfortable but showed some unfortunate stains.

Had a clean Standard Queen Room with Two Queen Beds. The air conditioning worked well and provided a nice cool atmosphere. The bathroom had a good shower, and I appreciated the complimentary toiletries. Breakfast had a mix of options, including hot items and fresh fruit. Plus, the outdoor pool looked inviting.

The Holiday Inn Express, Hope, An Ihg Hotel had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The common areas were well-kept and easy to navigate, making it particularly comfortable for seniors. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast options.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, everyone wanted to talk. they offered a pancake maker that I haven’t seen anywhere else!

It wasn’t the cheapest option, but you get what you pay for.

Super comfy bed!

This place was a lifesaver during our road trip! The bed was seriously like a cloud—slept like a baby. The staff were super friendly, especially the guy at breakfast who was so nice despite the rainy weather. Also, having Walmart right next door was clutch! Just a little bummed the doors were hard to shut.
